Ron Buckley joined ABV2 as Technician in Training in 1958 and years later he worked at CH7 Melbourne. He then moved to the UK and had a few videotape editing credits. Has anyone got an idea where the thick headed ganeal is?

Rather a long time ago but you could try ringing the station. At the time he quizzed my partner about any of the Technicians she could remember still working at ABV. Many thanks for the information, much apprecited. I am interstate at the moment and will follow-up next week when I am back in Sydney. There were many good times had by us ABV 1958 and 1959 TIT's and some have ended up as stories which are still talked about. Some of the best stories are about Ron. Ron was a good friend in those day's and we lost contact about 10 years after I transferred to ABN Sydney in 1966. I will let you know if I find him.
Last night I phoned the number for The Television Centre at City Road, but there was no answer. I then phoned the ITV Tyne Tees office and learnt that their City Road production house was closed about eight years ago and the staff put off. Apparently most went to other production houses. I was then put in contact with a lady who worked at City Road, but she had no idea where Ron may have gone. City Road was the production centre for The Tube and many other productions. It appears that many ITV productions are now produced by outside production houses. Also, Ron was not at the ITV Tyne Tees staff reunion Christmas Party a few day's ago.
I appreciate your help and hope that someone might come forward with more recent information about Ron.
